i read your story in Golf Digest and i had to read your blog. Over the past 2 days i ready each entry. All i can say is WOW. You are a great inspiration. I’m working on the mental game, learning as I go. Especially with tournament play. I’ve been talking with people about the round and what to do next time to avoid the blow-up holes and for a more solid mental approach.

Good idea, I’ll try and write more about the mental process of the rounds down the road.

yes yes yes. I know. I’m going to start playing at least one round a week for score. I’ll decide before teeing it off whether it’s a “score” round or a “practice” round. I think this way I can get both in and it will help down the road, also I can keep a handicap for entering events.

Thanks. I think so too, there are just times where I’m frustrated that I didn’t swing the driver at least a little bit along the way, but down the line I believe this method will pay off.

I see the point that some mental prep or sports psychology might help, particularly with tournament play, but it seems to me theres plenty of time for that.

The Driver will start firing soon enough and then you’ll knock a few shots off each round straight away.
