I'm getting the idea that you've put things on hold while you're healing up. Probably a good idea. My suggestion: you're hitting the off season very soon. When the weather turns bad, put the clubs away and take up swimming. It'll strengthen core, and pretty much every muscle in your body while taking the pressure off your spine. You've probably heard this from your doctor already, though. Anyway the idea is to rest the area that's giving you trouble while staying toned and conditioned. Then when the weather starts getting nice again, pick up your clubs and start back slowly. You'll be stronger all the way around and probably play better.

You can do slow mirror work in the house during the winter. 5 minutes a day to work on form. And stretch. Don't forget to stretch. Hope you get better and come back strong in the spring.

Good luck.

So....
is it about golf or is it about media appearances and column inches? In your interviews you never corrrect misconceptions about your progress and never respond to comments here unless they are by non golfers who don't see what's really happening here.
If you have given up, that's fine. Come out and admit it. You seem to have very little or no respect for the many people who have donated and/or followed this site. Your injury does not stop you from posting updates.

I think you owe your readers an update.

10,000 hours is about more than golf - it's also about how that impacts your life. I fear that you haven't posted in so long because you've abandoned the project. Even if that was the case, you should provide an update to help people understand all that goes into dedicating your life for several years to this journey.

Dude, you disappeared. You still out there logging your hours? We should play sometime; I've been doing the unofficial version of thedanplan for years. I'm gonna try to play in the local qualifier this year. You gonna make it into that tourney? 1.4 handicap. Anyway I'm hitting Rose city right now. Maybe I'll see u out there.
