Hi Dan!

Firstly, I have only been aware of your plan and website for the last month or so, and absolutely love your idea, passion and discipline. Myself and all my friends agree, you must have a very large dose of ambition and self-belief to even consider taking on this challenge. I will be reading your website for years to come and hopefully cheer you on when you reach the big time! Remember to come to the Australian events.

The website itself is great, watching all of your videos is entertaining and really shows how far you've come. The 2500 hour video was especially fantastic, as you see your initial swing and it makes me really question what the hell is holding me back. To see you now have a single digit handicap is fantastic.

The only thing I have a question about is deliberate practice. Would you mind putting up a tab/some links to provide those of us that are a little newer to your website, say:-
a) some links to deliberate practice, and what it means from a golf perspective; and
b) your particular methodology and how you apply deliberate practice within your goal.

If this link exists, feel free to slap me around the head. I would love to read more on deliberate practice, but why google around for it when someone has already done the research on it and created a plan from it?

All the very best!

Deliberate Practice. One of the key worof the Dan Plan is certainly "deliberate".
You must continuously look for the most productive and efficient way to maximise your 10.000 hrs practice; btw, this is the only advantage you may have with respect to a PGA pro that has possibly spent a lot of his time while he was young practicising without a highly defined training program.

Golf is certainly a feeling sport, but you should target the maximum efficiency in training, and Trackman will certainly help a lot in this!
Keep on working hard!
