Hi Dan,

First of all, really sorry to hear about your injury, but again, this is a roadblock that I'm sure you're going to get past! You'd blasted through all the others, so this should be a cakewalk. Heal up quickly!

Secondly, I have to chime in against some of the criticism above. Let's all cut Dan some slack. He's sharing his incredible journey with us, and I don't think he really needs anyone running him down if he doesn't respond to posts. I don't think, from what he said above, he's trying to cause any offence.

Best to all,

Thank you for having my back Darrel. As you and far too many people know rehab can be a slow process and often there isn't much to report as you can't necessarily see the progress day to day or sometimes even week to week or month to month.

Luckily, I have been noticing a lot of progress lately and am getting very excited about it.

Stefan.

No offense to anyone, but the comments post automatically and I typically don't read my own blogs after I have posted them, hence not noticing a lot of comments. I do, however, read and respond to every email I receive, which tends to keep my computer time busy. If you want to have a conversation with me please email me.

The last three months have been very difficult as I have never had an injury like this or massive setback in anything I have done through my life. So, I have been trying to be patient and understanding of what is going on in my body while also trying to update the blog every week or two even if there really isn't anything to report.

I will post about my rehab routine in the next post. Until then, please communicate directly if there is anything in particular you would like to talk about.

Thank you all,

Dan

10,000 hours of deliberate practice. Physical rehab. Hours in the gym don't count. 5 years. When there's something to report he will. At this level, the improvement is by inches, and harder to report. In the beginning, it was leaps and bounds.
Let's cut Dan some slack.

The same with me, Dan.

Your blog has become quite much of a monologue and it looks if at this time you don't care for the rest of your page at all.

People are trying here to help you continuing your plan and become and stay healthy but I suppose that will diminish if you show no reaction to questions and proposals.

How can I even be sure that you are still reading these comments at all?

Kind regards
Stefan

I have to agree with the above post Dan.
You might have answered my questions elsewhere but a quick 3 minute summary and answer to my questions would be appreciated.
Surely if you are not playing golf or updating the blog:countdown then you have time.
Not trying to give you a hard time, I sincerely hope your physical and mental wellbeing are ok.
But some aspects of this project are courting public interest, other aspects appear to be shunning it.
Have you counted any of your rehab time towards the 10000 hours?
