The course was so muddy and the ball plugged every time it went in the rough, so they were actually playing lift, clean and place for any ball that was not within a foot of a tree or hazard. So, we actually got to unplug the balls in the rough.

I see that this tourney was “lift clean and place” but I thought that was only in the fairway. it was just a question I had while watching your video. So an 86 is to 5900 as a 94.7 is to 6500, (as a ratio) it’s all relative obviously.

My question about practice is slightly in jest, do you suppose everyone that shot a score lower than yours has practiced more than you have? I’m trying to follow the reasoning.

I like playing the numbers game too. If I had laid up 6, taken the bogey, not whiffed the putt on 8 and laid up on 10 to make the bogey, we’d be talking 80, yes. But, I can’t go back no matter how much I’d like to and slap that guy around who was playing (me). So, I’ll have to bring those lessons with me to the next round. Live and learn,

Definitely started in my comfort zone and was in it for about 12 holes. Things went south and it pushed my zone a bit, but I still felt together through about 16. 17 was a disaster of bad decisions..
