25 putts great. Course management horrible. Short par 5's and 4's no need for your driver. Develop a go to money shot. I think you could of shot in the 70's with a few changes.

The sticking point is that the swing is poor. The driver amplifies any minor swing issues which is why you see pros like Tiger and Phil have very bad driving days. They can compensate because they can pull a 2 iron and still get the ball out 250.

Putting in a new driver a week before (or the morning off) a tournament is a sign of self sabotage. This is the second time it has happened. You have to ask yourself why are you making excuses for poor performance.

I got a chuckle out of your goal to not have to wake up too early. Long ago our City Championship had a reverse set-up. Two days of stroke play and on the third & last day the highest scores teed off LAST. My goal was to play well enough to get a parking place in the parking lot. If you shot too high a score, when one arrived at the course, all the parking spots would be taken and you would end up in a field next door.

Also, don't forget to post your scores and record them as "T" rounds.

Dan,

I know you're super busy but I enjoy checking your hours logged and seeing how much you have left and what you did on that day. Lately the updates haven't been as consistent as before.

Keep up the good work and good luck at the next tourney. Congrats on your first cash!

Dan,
Ever tried playing a driver at 43-44 inches, like the tour guys play? If whoever was fitting you for clubs didnt fit for length (probably thr most important thing) you might want to find a new club fitter!

Dan, congrats on grinding it out for a couple of days. It's important to be able to post decent numbers even when your not hitting it your best. 51 putts is incredible short game work is shining through. I'm curious why you haven't used the trackman more to try and analyze the driver situation?
