Cool! I’ve been a creeper on this blog for years, happy to see a possible connection here.

I’m always checking back in the hopes that I’ll start to see stuff like ‘I came 4th, won a golf bag’. Not that I don’t appreciate the detail you give on your improvements, it’s just I’m not a huge golfer and am more drawn in by the tremendously difficult feat you are attempting.

Hi Dan,

You have a whole summer of Am events in the Portland area? I would love to join in. I read your comment a couple of weeks ago, but for some reason didn’t realize you had a connection to get me into a series of events. I would love to play something bigger than the Oregon Golf Association and PNGA events this year. Let me know what events you have organized/lined up and thank you in advance. Currently, I have about 12 tourney events scheduled for this year starting on April 7, but hope to add more as the season goes on.

I have a whole summer series of Am events I asked him to come join but no response… it is the ONLY way to speed up the process with turning “professional”. You can’t become professional unless you play in tournaments and learn from tournament rounds

Spent my off season at OCN, pretty good deals for professionals. Any thoughts about joining a lower tour? That could definitely speed up your progress somewhat. Experience in tournaments is vital.
