I really do want the cart but i don’t see that ever happening. Dan, i commiserate with your struggles. I think you know just what you are up against now. You obviously had no idea on Day 1 that golf is not just a “skill” that you can master with a sum of hours. Golf is a collection of skills, some of which can be acquired through hard practice, others that have to be obsessed over and a couple that, sadly you have to have natural affinity for. Judging by your progress (and i commend you for getting to skilled hacker level which is better than most golfers ever get) you will burn through your 10 thousand hours and burn out before you break par on a real golf course from the tips. Not saying it couldnt happen just saying it probably wont because you will burn out first. I have played hundreds of rounds of golf with hackers (like me) and skilled golfers alike and i have only ever seen a handful of guys break par. Its a tough game.
