Matt is right on. It is critical that your blog be truthful and complete, but just as important that you not damage your relationships. Figure out where the privacy line is for you and for anyone in your life who might appear in the blog by talking to them and finding out what level of "names and details have been changed to protect the innocent/guilty" they will require to remain on speaking terms!!

A tough one on the authenticity thing. A blog that reads like a diary (where anything can be admitted) can be appealing to readers, but if you share frustrations about individuals in your life, then that could harm those relationships. On the other hand, if you gloss over personal conflicts, or share only positive anecdotes, your blog won't feel real. I suspect there is a middle course here. If you plan to share about another person, do it in a way that is appropriate for that person (so you can say your brother is annoying you, but don't say that about mom; well, at least not so directly). And perhaps it's worth a conversation with the most important people (such as girlfriend) as to what they are and are not comfortable with.
