Dan, I am hopeful that you will address this post and not just delete it... I am currently a lower handicap than you are, not by much but lower. I play golf about 12 times a year and my practice consists of hitting balls 1-2 times a month. How can a guy who has played this level of golf for many years be a lower handicap than a guy who has been practicing non stop for a couple of years? I am not a great athlete, mentally I'm pretty weak and when a good round it going many times the pressure gets to me and a 75 turns into a 81 over the last 4 holes. I just don't think people understand what it takes to become a golfer at the level of todays professionals. This has been so interesting to watch but what will you say when you're a scratch golfer in 2-3 years and still 10 strokes away from competing on the mini tours let along the web/pga tours. Does anyone believe that in 2 years Dan will win the CECC club championship? I don't see it, let along in 4 years being on the PGA tour, sadly is laughable. I will continue to watch the journey but those of you thinking that one day you will see Roger Maltbie interviewing Dan on the 18th need a dose or reality.

Out of curiosity, have you approached The Golf Channel, TLC, History Channel, etc.? Almost all of them have "reality" shows of some kind. Although your target demographic is fairly small, it's definitely a human interest story and I think it would translate very nicely into a weekly series. They would simply be filming you through the process so it shouldn't be a huge interruption to your training (other than the "confessionals" and promo work) and the money from the show should more than fund your journey. Just a thought.

Good point. I'm in the process of teaming up with a couple companies to do just that. Hope to have shirts and golf bags soon that I use myself and then hopefully some more good stuff soon. Thanks!

DC Rainmaker has a deal with Clever Training where anyone who goes from his site to CT gets a 10% discount and I assume he gets some kind of affiliate cut. I doubt you have the site traffic to swing a deal with that kind of clout but something like it might work. Benefits you, benefits your followers, benefits the affiliated retailer. Just spit-balling, I'm sure you've considered things like that.
