Hi Charlie,

Thank you, as always, for the comment. I have a good idea of volume of swing and necessary amount of force needed to apply, it's more of an internal swing model that I am talking about here. I know how to hit a pitch, but I don't "know" how to do it... I think my communication skills aren't coming through here well, but basically I understand the fundamentals, the trajectories, and the force needed, just am searching for the right feeling for the shot. I think that there is a vast difference between understanding and comprehension, or perhaps that's the other way around. Either way, there is knowing and then there's knowing (picture italics here, don't have that on the phone.)

Thank you again,

Dan

May I respectfully suggest that before your next pitching session you spend half an hour or so lobbing balls towards the hole with your left hand. You choose the length, and vary it -- just toss balls underhand to get a feel for the trajectory you want. I suspect that by now you you have enough feel for the clubface (as an extension of your arms & hands) that you'll make the transition easily, but what you may lack is a well-grooved FEEL for the ideal trajectory from the 5-25 yards off the green.
