Hi Linda!

Ben has a solid head on his shoulders, I often forget he's 14 and treat him like my 30-year-old friends. He doesn't seem to mind that I'm right around his putting level and instead enjoys the competition. We talk a lot about where we will both be by next summer and rather than focussing on where I will be, he thinks about the scores he will be able to shoot after a winter of practice and a bit of growth.

I think his training was pretty similar, he started with swinging some small clubs as a 3-year-old and doing a lot of putting. His father and him practice around the putting green a lot and play in the first tee program.

Thanks for the comments!

What was Ben's reaction to you, now only 1 year later, being on par w/ his skill on the putting green? (since he's been playing/training for 11 years already?).

I wonder - if Ben's training when young had a similar format to yours? meaning - did he start w/ just putting and moved to other clubs after mastering each one?

BTW - I am so thrilled with your project/goal/experiment!!!
