Stephane,

I love those drills. It's really interesting to see the differences between the best ball game and worst ball one. My goal is to get those to just a stroke or two different for 9 holes :)

to monitor the potential of my students, I use 2 drills:

body potential: Play 2 balls and choose the best one
mind potential : Play 2 balls and choose the worst one

then add both scores and divide them by 2 > you should get your true potential (body and mind) score...

but at the end of the day is not your potential that matters its your performance = potential - interferences because without interferences tour pro would shoot more often in the 50's... rgds. Stéphane Barras, Swiss PGA

Wow. Heck. Blimey. And wow again. Without exclamation marks. Because you didn't use any. But I hope you're feeling a few. I certainly am.
Very best,

Dan,
That's brilliant.
I think the six-hole mark should be a very good motivator
Keep at it.

I want to second #4 --- even after about 3000 hours, the Dan Plan already illustrates something remarkable. You've already gone beyond where many people end up. For the sorts of changes we shoot for in our lives, not to be world-class at something, but just a lot better than we are, the biggest challenge is to have the dedication. Once that's there, the hard work *will* pay off. It's wonderful and eye-opening that your experiment has confirmed that last bit with certainty.

Congats Dan! I like how you did shoot the low score with some people playing with you. Too many times we play those low rounds or hear about somebody shooting a low round with nobody around.

Keep it up!
