Yea, my thoughts exactly. My course last year required carts because of very mountainous terrain, so I only walked about 20-30 rounds last year at other courses.

This year however, my membership will be at a walking course (hooray!) and I'll definitely be walking 100+, which is why I got the 3.0.

I think in use, the most comfortable is exactly right. I probably use mine in roughly 70% push and 30% pull. From my experience the push carts work much better in pull mode, than pull carts work in push mode. The push carts seem to "nose dive" in some terrain and I've found myself with the handle in my gut because I wasn't paying enough attention. I've never had the problem with a push cart.

Hmm, makes sense. Either way you are better off than carrying, so perhaps what feels most comfortable?

Nice. I had plantar fascia symptoms last year and it sucked. Nothing worse than having pain just from standing. I changed shoes and started pushing more and it went away. Feels good to feel good :)

Rusty Cage,
I agree. They're light and easy to transport. Great carts all in all.
I haven't a clue either about Reed's wife. Those bags are super heavy and it can't be good for the back.

Good point. It's also important to think about what could happen down the line. For me and the amount I play every week it's very important to not get injured and if pushing can prevent and injury than that's what I shall do. Have fun picking one out for your birthday!
