A 12 handicap? That’s fantastic! I just started golf this year (at 44), and your mission is totally inspiring. At the end of most rounds, I’m pretty much ready to give up on golf, but you’re a testament to what putting in the work can do. Really looking forward to the webisodes.

Hi again. I still haven’t cracked the book, and have one to finish and then another on the list prior to starting, but I have to say I’m very interested in getting into it seeing as how much you believe in it. I appreciate the comments and will let you know when I begin the journey.

That’s true that I’ve practiced for 2,000 hours and it looks like it has paid off seeing as I have played 14 rounds of actual golf and have a low-ish handicap. It is almost “cheating” a bit to have that many hours of practice before really playing golf, but that’s how we’re learning and how I plan on making this possible. I feel on the verge of obtaining more consistency and hopefully with that will come some better scores in the future.

I was pretty surprised by the number too. Without being familiar with the handicap system, I assumed it would be an average of my scores, which would have put it closer to the 16 mark. But, I’ll take it how it is and look forward to getting the number down steadily for the next few years.
