Ask around, maybe you will be able to get a gig as a caddy for one of the lesser lights on the tour.

Unless you pay the fee, it is doubtful you will be playing in the Pro-Am. Those spots are fairly pricey – not like the PGA Tour but probably starting at $2,500 or more per spot.
Still, a good opportunity to see some great players up close and personal. I always enjoy practice round days as they are more relaxed and sometimes if the players or caddies are waiting around you can get one to chat.

If possible, you might want to consider playing a round with one of the TV commentators before the tournament. Kellie Kuehne had a nice career, despite a lot of back trouble, and she is a riot — very warm, friendly, and funny. If she’s going to cover the tournament, she’d have a lot of interesting things to say, and she’d probably enjoy your insider thoughts on the course.
