Hello again Tom,
That's very true. You have to think of your current shot as your only one, there is no past in golf :) It is comforting that pros hit some miss shots, too. Golf is not a game of perfect, as Bob Rotella's book is aptly titled.. You're right on, good luck teaching your daughter!

Hi Dan: I have a 9 year old daughter that I am teaching to play. I always remind her that the best thing about golf is that you always have another shot regardless of the shot you hit. In other words, the next shot is always an oppotunity to excel. I also show her on the TV that the Pros are consistently hitting bad shots. The difference in their game is their ability to follow that poor shot with a spectacular shot. As you have discovered, it's the attitude of the player that allows that to happen.

Inspiring blog Dan. It's hard not to be self-critical at times, but as long as you're putting your heart and mind into it, you will improve. No matter what the numbers say on any given day. And ya look nice in pink!
