The slight let down for anyone who followed the story was that it ended as a damp squib with no communication or endnote to say so. Perfectly legitimate for Dan to say that the experiment had come to the end of the road, hitting a wall physically, or that with injuries, other life goals to be set.

To leave the blog untouched since 2015 would lead a new reader to think there was ultimately a lack of true commitment and that would be unfair to both the reader and to Dan. Please give a post-script even though it may be tough.
