It was good to see The SBS program "Born or Made" the cross section of experts and sports people supplied a very informative base for the topic. Through your efforts I and other Oz golfers have a better understanding of the US golfing system. The PGA is the top end of the games public face. 99% of golfers though in the world are in the 99% of amateurs playing club golf. It was good for you to see how we play club golf as it should take the possibly bemused or overly critical opinion you may have thought was in some posts about your ability. There was never any disdain on my part for your attempt, it is simply that golf is a world game and nations play it differently. As a nation of 23 million people our professional golfing preparation/training is a 'high performance program" with identification of youth talent as its basis. Which is why I enjoy your Dan Plan so much. It is about a person "having a go" and not missing out because they were not identified by the professionals or involved in sport earlier.
