I'm sad the short amount of work spent on GEARS was focused on equipment and not the early extension seen in your swing videos during this period. That's a shame. No disrespect, I realize golf is very hard. Wild how ahead of your time you were though with this entire plan, not just working on GEARS and K-vest but also in just vlogging your golf experience in general. This five year story is something I still take lessons from. Thank you, Dan.

Wow, you did hit off GEARS... cool shit. Hopefully you go into that experience soon before the plan ends. Totally missed this final chapter here.

Thanks Michael.
I'd never been with comfortable with hybrids before this set and had to be persuaded to put one in my bag. I wasn't enamoured by how they looked in photographs, but at address they are great. And the sound off the clubface is excellent.
I've subsequently swapped out my 4-wood and 4-iron and now play three of them...

Duncan. You are right on.
Lie angle DOES matter. If you have a VSP under 40 You will have to go shorter and flatter if possible. Hybrids are most likely going to have to be Adams or ping as only they will flatten them enough

Good catch on wishon heads. Right on. They are hard to look at to me. But that's just me

Dan. You should look at Wishon heads for your driver, fairway and hybrids. His top of the line designs come with a bendable hosel that should be perfect for your purposes - "Unique 304 Stainless Steel Hosel allows for much greater ease in bending lie and face angle to broaden custom fitting options (±4°)".
I have been playing the 919THI driver and the 775HS hybrids for two years now and wouldn't even think of changing to another head design. Maximum COR on the faces, but very forgiving. The hybrids play beautifully from all kind of lies, yet are easy to shape shots with.
Best, Duncan

I found it interesting that you stuck with the KBS shafts. I would have thought that there would have been a more reliable shaft? Given golf is both mental and physical, you could be held back by the lack of the faith in your shaft. You could be tempted to "hold back" even subconsciously on your shots. Also since every shot counts, where does the ball go when your shaft snaps? Hopefully you aren't in a competition!!
