First round of par will probably happen before Valentine's Day, provided you're playing at one of the 2-3 courses you know well.

The more interesting question is when will you shoot back-to-back rounds of par. Then, the more interesting question becomes when will you be able to shoot back-to-back rounds of par at two courses you've never seen before. Lee Trevino said that to make it on tour you should be able to tee it up from the tips at 10-12 courses you've never seen before and shoot par or better. I consider that daunting but not unreasonable.

I keep up with you on Twitter and check the site to watch your videos. I predict that you will shoot par by October 5th.

Keep up the work. I've been playing 3.5 years now and recently shot a 77 as my lowest round. It felt great breaking 80 and I look forward to hearing about it when you do shoot par!

Nice goin' on your 36, Dan... Although I'd be lyin' if I said I wasn't starting to get a little jealous that after 7.5 months playing with a full set, you're already passing my game, and I've been playing for almost 30 years... I know, when it comes down to hours of "deliberate practice" time, you're ahead of me, but still...

Been enjoying watching your progress... Keep it up!

Dan-
Grab a buddy to keep score and play TWO balls for 18. You will lose track of your score (focusing, instead, on 'one shot at a time') and probably break par on one of the balls. Keep up the good work!
