Is that as hot as you got?

Went out to Pumpkin to see Christopher today.  Thought it was going to be a scorcher, but compared to other places I’ve been, today was actually quite a nice day.  I’ll save the shorts for when it actually gets hot out.

We worked on putting for a bit, playing a little 9-hole game as usual.  I was doing pretty well, but had a couple long misfires, which has become a little too common for my liking. So, I am going to focus on my distance for the coming weeks, adding in some 50-footers and 60-footers to my daily routine.

We also went over the pitching wedge once again and it makes much more sense to me now.  Think I will start giving it a bit of practice from here on out.  I had had questions about how to hold the club and what the swinging motion should feel like, but watched him hit a few and we went over the basics, so I’m feeling much better about tackling the next task ahead of me now.

Although the heat was not too bad, it was a long day of standing in the full sun, so am now feeling a bit on the lethargic side..  Going to do a bit of relaxing before venturing out tomorrow morning for another great day on the greens!
