New Videographer!
It’s hard to see him, but the new videographer for The Dan Plan, Matt Roth, is hidden in the bushed in the picture above. Matt’s a great photographer and will be a huge asset to The Dan Plan. He’s thinking about taking on the project full time starting around the beginning of 2011 and if so we will have a bunch of new and great footage to put up on the site! We will really be able to document The Plan the right way with a dedicated documentarian on board and I’m excited about the possibilities!
Today, however, was a bummer of a day. I let everything from the finances of The Plan, having a new member on board and sanded greens get in the way of me having a good day of training. It’s another reason why I need to focus on compartmentalizing my thoughts. My goal is to be able to focus solely on golf while out on the green and then separate myself from that when I am away. I’m not sure why, but I let things get the better of me today and started feeling overwhelmed by it all. I felt like I was so far behind on everything that I was a bit underwater, but after a nice long run I started to break all of the little issues down and see the bright side of the world! Also, even with the doomsday feelings, I got in a good practice and learned a bit about putting on sanded greens, so all in all it turned into a good day, but was just one that I would rather not have had to have gone through..
Tomorrow we head to East Moreland in the morning and then to see Shawn at the gym for one of his intense workouts. It’s going to be a great day and one of the few sunny ones left!
