Nutritionist meeting, round two
Met with Kate Fischer again today over at her gym, Edge Performance Fitness off of N. Interstate, and we started to mesh out some details of diet and fitness. Looks like their gym is going to be an excellent place to work out during the plan, there are a lot of good monthly rates that include unlimited amounts of classes if I wanted to join in on one of those and it also includes keeping a food log that she will look over and offer suggestions.
That, and the fact that the gym is a nice 2.4 mile jog away (clocked it on the drive in today) makes it a good fit. She also has ties with everyone over at the Kor PT (where Christopher is based and Donn the possible physical trainer too) and says she can work with Donn in getting a good regimen down for The Plan.
It was a good meeting and I’m excited to get in shape, it’s been a long time since I jogged or pretty much did anything physical. Which reminds me, it’s a great day for a jog, so off I go!
One more thought; we talked about getting a blood panel done to see where my base rates are as far as nutrients, resting heart rate and other general metabolic rates. Going to look into this this week.
