Arrival
The TrackMan made it. UPS said they would deliver between 9AM and 7PM so I came home early (around 1:30) to wait by the door for an early Christmas as nobody else was home. The package arrived at 7:02PM after I had almost completely given up on any chance of getting to play with it tonight. But, it’s here and I’m ready to get started.
Seeing as I had almost the whole day open, I actually had a chance to read the instruction manual and think that I’m ready to get it up and running. Only downfall is that it’s dark out so I have to wait until tomorrow.
I’m really excited to get this out there and start collecting some data/learn more about my clubs throughout impact. There are so many different aspect I am interested in and having a TrackMan at my disposal will be a great clarifier for me in many ways as well as provide any interested party more specifics about my current swing and progress. I can’t wait to get my first combine score up, too. I hear Nick Faldo scored an 83 on his first attempt and the PGA Tour average is an 81.7. This is how it works:
You get a score for each shot and then an average for the 60 swings.
For now, I shall charge up the battery and get everything ready to go for the morning. I’m sure there will be a learning curve, but figure that I will have some numbers to share by middle next week at the latest if all goes well.
