Breakfast of champs.

yogurt, granola and spirulina. nice.

Diet is one of those things that will be constantly tweaked as the plan evolves..  Today, on the first Monday of a full week of The Plan, I decided to go with a bowl of vanilla yogurt filled with granola I got out of the bulk bins at Newseasons (a local grocery store here in Portland).  And topped that off with a glass of mega greens and spirulina.  It was a good way to start the day and I brought a couple ounces of almonds and an apple for a mid-morning snack too.  But, even with the almonds and apple, after about four hours of concentrating on putting, I was a bit too ravenous to stay out any longer.  Had to head home for lunch.  Tomorrow, I think I will try and add a bit of fruit to the morning equation and perhaps a small additional source of protein.  One thing that always seems to work with me is a bagel topped with peanut butter, maybe that will be brought as a snack..

Also, went and had a workout over at the Kor in Beaverton.  it about an hour after lunch, so wasn’t worried about fuel going into it, but brought an apple and my water bottle with a scoop of whey protein in it for immediately afterwords.  Seemed to hit the spot!
