burning the midnight oil

While watching Werner Herzog’s “Lessons of Darkness” tonight, which is literally about burning oil, I am working on putting together the website more completely so I can start trying to promote the idea of The Dan Plan. So far I haven’t tried to spread the word outside of friends and family, but would love to contact the Oregonian and any other local media that might have some interest in covering the story. Thing is, I think it’s necessary to have some content put together first, otherwise it’s just a random idea from a random person and doesn’t seem to hold up any clout.  So.. back to watching the oil burn while trying my darndest to learn code, figure out paypal, insert this blog, find a video player and a photo gallery.. Baby steps. I keep telling myself I have four years to figure all of these things out.  In all honesty I just need to figure one thing out each day.  Maybe that’s a good mantra for the overall project.
