I started logging in everything I eat today for nutritionist Kate to be able to view from her end and give me suggestions on whether I am making the best choices for my energy levels. If you know you are then going to have to put it on the record, it makes you stop and think about everything that you put in your body. Didn’t stop me from having seconds on ice cream last night, though…

Goals this week: get in touch with media of any sort and unofficially “announce” the beginning of the plan in case anyone is interested in hearing a little bit about it before it launches. The only one I have tried to contact so far is the Oregonian, but it’s still early Monday, so plenty of time to figure out who is out there to talk to.
Not sure if I should put together some sort of press kit. I am thinking that just an informal email might be best, don’t exactly have the resources for anything too polished at this point.
All in all, things are good. Today marks three weeks until The Plan starts. And, I’m only slightly nervous that I do not have clubs or a place to play arranged yet. Slightly..
