New putter!
Yesterday was a good day. Went out to Pumpkin Ridge to meet up with Christopher (CS) for a lesson and he had a few presents for me, courtesy of Nike. They were a brand new putter and two pairs of golfing shoes, as well as a “loaner” rain jacket from CS too. I really appreciate all of the help that people have offered along the way and would like to thank Nike for supplying some gear for The Plan!
Today was a bit of a strange day. I putted better than I ever have before, actually broke the 90% barrier in my three foot game (where I putt 100 balls from six different areas around the hole, all three feet away). Before, I had only gotten in the 80% level twice, but this morning I was on fire. That said, after 1.5 hours, I could barely concentrate and felt exhausted, so decided to go to the Edge gym and workout, then go home and do my Synergy Center exercises. I took a nap and felt a bit refreshed in the afternoon, but still, only lasted about two hours back out at Broadmoor. But, I did putt 84% in the afternoon, for a daily total of 87.25%. By far the best I’ve done so far.
I hope this is a continuous upward trend. If so, I should be solidly in the 90% range in the next couple weeks and ready to move forward to five feet. Oh my! Seems like small potatoes, but It’s the first major milestone of The Plan..
Think I am going to enjoy this weekend off, I’m beat!
