quick note

Heading off to Pumpkin to see Christopher (CS) today.  He’s been in Spain doing some work for the past ten days and so we didn’t have a lesson last week.  I’ve been working on a “neutral” stance for the past two weeks, which has been the hardest of my stance adjustments thus far, but I think I finally have a good grasp on it and am interested in seeing what CS has to say about what I need to work on next.  I’m nowhere near a pro-level putter, but I’ve definitely made up some ground and am interested in knowing his thoughts about when we might push forward and start chipping.  I think I could be ready for that stage in another four or five weeks, personally.  (I will, after all, continue putting practice while I work on new clubs.  Definitely not going to stop practicing anything during the next four years..)

Also, I want to talk with him about devising a bootcamp for while Marijke is out of town.  She flies to San Francisco today for a couple weeks and I figure it’s a good time to do an intensive practice.  Speaking of which, I need to drive her to the airport now..

Off to airport and Pumpkin.  Hopefully it’s the last day of Spring rain too!
